Raising B front?

Postby Dusty B » Tue May 04, 2021 4:43 pm

Suggestions for raising and supporting the front of a B? Cautious of jacking under the oil pan?Right now using a strap around front of block (hood removed to prevent crushing). Curious as to others solution?. Had to remove front tire(one) to fix flat! Cast iron hub= near hernia!,

Just to remove one tire? Drive the other front wheel up on a 2x4.

If you dont like Jim's simple trick, stick a bottle jack under the torque tube up by the flywheel

That is how I did it with my BN.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

That is the way we did it on our Farmall H for years, except we use a couple of stacked 2x6s, offset so they formed a step to come up.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
