Farmall B front bearings

[Tractor Rod]

Has anybody ordered front wheel bearing kits from Steiner tractor for a Farmall B? I got my parts in and noticed that I had to drive out the oil seal ring but the new one just slips on and doesn’t have even a little bit of a friction fit. All of these parts show made in China and I am wondering if anybody has had any trouble with any of these parts?

I ordered B front wheel bearings from Yesterday's Tractor about 2 years ago, and installed one so far. It has worked well so far.

Might be too late now but do you have a bearing supply place in or close to your town?

Are your new bearings Timkin?

Did you call your closest case ih dealer for availability on the seal ring that you had to drive out, and the new CHINA one is sloppy fit

Are your original bearings really junk?

I would not be surprised if a lot of tapered roller bearings are changed, that really dont need to be!
