Below is the adjustment description from the Farmall B Owner's Manual. The referenced illustration just shows the yoke/cotter pin attachment to the operating brake rod (similar to a Farmall Cub). The B Owners Manual is available under the "Quick Links" section. It can be found in the "pdf manuals" section.

BRAKES
Brakes are external contracting bands on forged steel drums, mounted on
differential shafts in housings. Brakes are operated by foot pedals
which can be operated either individually or interlocked.

ADJUSTMENT (See Illustration No. 16)
To adjust brakes, Jack up rear end of tractor, remove pin "A", loosen
lock nut "B", turn adjusting yoke "C" until proper adjustment is obtained. Then replace pin "A" and tighten lock nut "B".
The correct adjustment is obtained by adjusting each brake until wheel
drags slightly with yoke connected to shaft; then back up until wheel is
free (about 1/2 to 1 turn of yoke).
CAUTIONJ Be sure brakes are equally adjusted.

TO EQUALIZE BRAKES
Lock brake pedals together. Drive tractor in high gear and apply brakes.
If one wheel skids or drags, back off adjusting yoke "C" about 1/2 turn
on that wand try again. Continue this procedure until brakes hold
equally.
