Zenith carburetor

Postby Texas Tony » Sat Oct 07, 2017 8:24 pm

I'm going to guess that most of the rebuild kits for one-barrel Zenith carburetors are pretty much the same. Am I right, Here? And that if I order a kit for these models, I'll be ok? I'm going to put it in a bucket of paint thinner and mineral spirits to soak away 20 years of sitting on my tractor behind the barn for a couple of days before I overhaul it.

Input, ideas, thoughts, comments, criticism are all welcome.

That is fairly true for basic kits that are mostly gaskets. If you get into new jets and the like, they can vary.

I won't know about the jets until I get it apart, but I'm crossing my fingers that nothing is split or in too bad of shape. Thanks for the input.
