Howdy, it's me again and I need some advice.
I'm trying to put the timing gear cover and crankshaft pulley back on and it appears that something is broken off inside the crankshaft. And my stupid phone takes pictures too large to upload. Any ideas? It almost looks like the tip of a gear puller that has broken off just inside the shaft, if that part of the crankshaft is hollow and threaded.
Anyone have an idea for putting the pulley back on, other than putting a wooden block across the face of the pulley and tapping it back On?
Please help, and thanks in advance for any advice and grandfatherly advice.

Re: Crankshaft pulley
Are there any threads available to screw in a 1/2-20 bolt?

Re: Crankshaft pulley
That was a booger! Got it on, nearly, but to push it on the last quarter inch up to the timing gear cover and seal, I'm going to need a grade 8 bolt and nut.
I used a stock half inch carriage bolt screwed into the hole about 3/4 of an inch because the bolt was getting tight. Next, I put four big washers up against the crank opening, then four smaller washers, and finally the nut.
Thanks for the advice, Mr. Bob.
