Farmall M clutch problems

Postby Brockpend » Wed Sep 08, 2021 9:10 pm

Honestly, I’m 15 and new to farmalls. I have an M with a clutch pedal that won’t push in. What can I do to fix this, what could the issues possibly be? Thx

That’s not a lot of info to go on but if the tractor has been setting, unused for some time, I’d guess rust is the issue. Get a good penetrating fluid and lubricate all pivot points on the linkage and especially where the shaft enters the housing. Keep working the pedal and repeating the penetrant process, hopefully it will free up.
