"Chip off the old block" is a saying similar to "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree", or "Like father, like son", or as it seems to be in this case, "Like father, like daughter."

:oops: She did not! Sometimes with my enthusiasm to give her brother a ride first, I forget! I later kicked myself that day for not giving her a ride. Next time she's getting one for sure! I need to nurture her interests right?
