Thread pitch of breather assembly
Hey guys I just picked up a really nice 1964 model 70 that is in really good condition. The only parts that it is missing are 2 screws that hold the air filter assembly to the carb. Can anyone tell me what the part number is or the thread pitch and dimensions of the 2 screws. It has the original carb on it. TIA.

Welcome to the forum.
Make sure you have the gasket between the carb and air filter rear housing. Dirt going through the carb to the cylinder is a big problem on Kohler engines. I use a new air filter with the green foam pre cleaner.
I notice on the used Cadet’s I replace every headgasket as I get them home. When I see scored cylinders from dirt I go to the airfilter to find the cause. Sometimes the airfilter is dirty or has holes in the paper. Dirt is the enemy.
The 70 is a nice cadet.

Hardware store for the bolts and washers. Guessing $1.20 plus tax if you purchase both size bolts and washers.
I have an excuse. CRS.
