Unfortunately, I do not think that your upgrade will add any strength to the front spindles. The problem with the 3/4" setup is that the spindles bend or break at the elbow where the spindles changes from verticle to horizontal. Most people who upgrade the front axles swap them out with an axle from a later garden tractor which gives you the 1" front spindles, which are much stronger than the 3/4" ones.
However, if your intent was just to be able to use later model front wheels, or wheels from a lo-boy as BigBill mentioned, then you have been successful.

I used my int154 front tires and rims to offset the 29" 12:50 -15" Tru Power AG tires on the back so it sits level now and looks good too. I put the 5 lug front hubs and rims/tires on my int154 that I replaced the one piece 12" rims w/hubs, so i had them left over. I picked up the 5 lug hubs & 5 lug 10" rims with like new turf tires really cheap on ebay. I'll see if i can get a pic.
I was tilling with my CC100 today and i can see why this cub cadet thing really took off, what a tilling machine, its cool too.

Gitractorman,
I know all about the weak spot on the 3/4" spindles as I bent one on my cub cadet loader tractor and had to add a gusset to streighten them.
I had these rims made up to fit my newer MTD cub cadet 3235 but did not like how they looked on that tractor, and seeing how they where just laying around I thought I would try putting them to use.
I also have another set of wide rims with the 1" bearings and have found that they fit nicely on the spindles of my old trailer that I removed from highway service, the smaller tires work better for loading the trailer with my cub loader.

I do plan on welding two aggussets on each side of the 3/4" spindle to give it strength so it can't flex or bend. I think thats the only way to upgrade them without switching to 1" spindles. I been also thinking of off setting the camber too like my 108 has on my 70 so the top of the tire tilt out a little.
