I just seen this add in tomorrows trade paper and am wondering if this model is an I-H Cub? I have never seen a Cadet in this area. I would not mind getting an I-H Cadet.
CUB CADETTE 147 with mower and rototiller and hydrostatic Drive. 824-3318.
I-H OR MTD?

That price is about what 5 of them should cost.
.
147 is a 14 hp, narrow frame Cub Cadet built from 11/69 to 8/71. They had an electric lift for the deck, that is usually broke by now, and it is very pricey to repair - all the parts/gears are not available. Most people convert them to a manual lift when the electric one gives up.
