Like the skid seen in the pic. I have one that needs repair and if all else fails, I will get it repaired. But got a feeling sourcing it out won’t be cheap. 1/4” plate that’s curved. Got a couple buddies who used to weld, but they are no longer in the business

Could you find a piece of large scrap pipe and cut I section out of it? I'm not sure how thick an old propane tank is, but the curvature probably isn't critical.

these are rare and pricey, sold mine last year for $1500 and they came 5 states away,to get it

Thanks for the replies, guys. My first desire here is to find an original one. If that fails, I’ll take what I have to get repaired. I don’t own a welder or a torch and I’m no good at either one.

You are correct. I’ve had two come into my possession. Didn’t think I’d ever find one. And got the both at a very good price. One in a package deal and the other by itself. I’ve sold one and didn’t really ask what it was worth. Stayed on marketplace for awhile until someone bought it
