Fanning Mill

Postby lyle11 » Thu Oct 18, 2018 12:34 pm

I am cleaning out a shed. We have this old machine called a Grain Separator. I’ve heard the term Fanning Mill. I haven’t looked it up on the internet to research what it is for, but I think it was used to filter out good seeds from chaff for planting your next crop. It operates freely but the screens are tore up. I was curious if anybody ever used one of these.
