Re: 2019 Deer season
Mr. 10 tried to brush himself in so he wouldn’t be seen. It’s 95 here today. Supposed to be 69 for the high Saturday. Hopefully my wife can shank him.

Nice looking rack, possible unicorn genes with that one horn growing beside the main beam.

Re: 2019 Deer season
we have some acreage close by , in the early stages of hunting development for deer . ( its never been hunted the last 25 years , lots of signs of bedding down though ) . lots left to do to get it "right" , but i hope we can get the grandkids out in the woods , even if not very productive this year . coppersmythe........................PS: sometimes i wonder if its best ( in this case ) to just stay out of the area , and sit under a tree downwind when the season starts............

Shot guns yesterday, kids wanted to shoot. Son shot his .243 @ 100 yards and baby girl shot the BB gun.

Re: 2019 Deer season
Thought this was a new buck, that short brow tine is unmistakable. He’s been gone since late August.

When does season open up?
Bow season came in the Saturday after Labor Day. Muzzle loader opens November 2nd for 2 weeks then gun season until the 1st of January. Since I shot that nice 8 Pt in September with the bow I've put the sticks up and waiting on muzzle loader season. My wife is trying to shoot one of these big ones now. We've had a lot going on with her dad, uncle passing away, daughter going to dance, son going to baseball, and work and she hasn't been but a few times.
