poachers.... :(
had a poacher come by on the road and shoot a doe on my land, practically in my yard. ran him off, reported him, got the deer and a permit from the CO. he came and picked up the bullet I recovered from the deer's neck. He used a .22 to kill a doe I used to watch almost daily on a live security cam. she was still nursing a young one. The worst thing is he shot uphill directly to where my wife and friends were in the yard. They were not 40 yards past the deer. Granted trees were between them but still. They have an idea who he is but have not apprehended him yet.

better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it...( YES this includes CUBS! )

Re: poachers.... :(
Wow. We have some neighbors, on both sides of me and across the road, that's always target practicing. The one neighbor doesn't own the land, and they're shooting into my property. I would report them, but I doubt if it would do any good.
