Happened this week in Arkansas! Muzzleloader season, didn’t work out well for this fellow. Horrible outcome.

I always touch an eyeball with the end of a loaded (and ready 2 fire) gun and see if they flinch.
Any movement and BANG. The gun was already pointed in the right direction. (Caution, this recommendation might wreck your mount, but save your life)

a few years back a deer was hit by a ford bronco on the local highway here, the guy who hit the deer figured even if the car was banged up a little at least he could throw the dear and bring it home to chop it up, he loaded it up and a few miles later the deer came back to life! kicked the crap out of the bronco, destroyed the interior, kicked out the windows
