Christmas Day 2019

Postby Eugene » Wed Dec 25, 2019 9:28 pm

70 degrees, afternoon of Christmas day 2019. What to do after Christmas lunch? Nothing better than working off the large meal and sweating in T shirt weather.

Took the family to the acreage to do the hard work, clear brush from about 150 feet of new fence line.

That's how you make memories that the kids will be talking about for years. You know what Dad had us do on Christmas day?

Edit. Changed year from 2020 to 2019. Thanks Stanton.

Took perhaps a hour to clear the brush along the proposed fence line and along the existing fence.

Need to move the existing fence because it runs along a creek. The creek is eroding the stream bank and need to set the fence back about 15 feet.

Today setting 8 or 10 T posts. That is going to be the hard part for an old guy with arthritis. Gonna hurt bad.
