Sorry I didn't get back to you right away my middle daughter is on a traveling sporting clays team we were tied up this past weekend. I have been to Denton Hill in the past I stopped going about 6 or 7 years ago because it cost us about 140 dollars for the 5 of us just to get in the gate. Denton is a awesome shoot if you are looking to buy stuff but the courses tend to be to crowded. My family likes to go to Sawmill it is put on by the same people as Denton but it is less crowded which gives us more opportunities to shoot.

I've been to Denton Hill before but you're right, it's expensive. If you ever want to attend a good shoot and don't mind traveling to Michigan, the Compton shoot is a great shoot. Lots of vendors, campers, 4 3D courses, practice (tryout) range and all kinds of stuff for kids. It's usually Fathers Day Weekend.

One of the best traditional shoots that I've been to is near Buffalo NY at a club called hawkeye bowmen if you are ever up this way. You can shoot all you want for the weekend for one price and they allow camping on the property they also have a kitchen and showers there.
