The Farmall H earning its keep
I had an 8" maple tree limb partially break off in a storm. I tried to pull it free with my Farmall H, but ended up ripping the entire tree in half. So I used the H to put a load on the other half (it was hanging over the house) and cut part way through the trunk. Then I pulled the rest over. I didn't have time to cut it up where it landed, so I dragged both away. Both halves were right at the limits of traction for the old girl, but she performed admirably!

Yeah, it smokes until it warms up, then it runs clean. It will get some new parts some day.

You can buy a lot of oil for the price of parts. Unless it is losing power or other issues why bother? Vern
