Yup, went and picked up a '78 Cub needing plenty of TLC today and man what a setup this guy had! He had his hands in lots of things; Horses, Cows, Chickens, worked a full time job and then farmed about 5 acres of his and more on his dads place. Makes me tired just thinking about it .
He was harvesting strawberries right now, but had squash & zuccini already 8" tall. His rows were membrane covered and subsoil irrigated and fed, deffinetly cut down on watering requirements and weed control!
He obviously wasn't a recreational farmer...eh?
Got my hands full with my growing Cub attraction and what little gardening I do, trying a bigger spot this year...so we'll see.
