Lowboy flail mower pto telescoping...

Postby Jonny-0 » Fri Aug 24, 2018 7:40 pm

I just bought a lowboy that came with a flail mower. Problem is the telescoping part of pto that connects to pto shaft on tractor is missing. Any ideas on where to locate that half of the connecting coupling shaft?

Not enough info to help you. What tractor, offset loboy? where does the mower mount? Middle? Rear? What type? Never saw or heard of a flail mower on a number series unless it was a 3 pt? Can you post some pictures?

There are a number of on-line parts suppliers that offer PTOs, complete and parts.

You need to measure up your PTO. Some PTO shafts are square and others, different shapes.

You need to do the measurements, then the research. It may be less expensive to purchase a complete shaft and purchase the PTO adapter to tractor's PTO shaft.
I have an excuse. CRS.
