Loose steering on a 184

How much play should their be in the steering on a 184? New to these older tractors and realize most older equipment always has some play. But how much is to much?
When new, there was no play. Too much play is when it becomes a safety issue with controlling the equipment.
This is typically most dangerous when using road gear. I would consider 1/8 turn of the wheel to be a "lot" of steering slop.
Find the source of the steering play. Often, it is found in a place where it is easily serviceable. Worst case would be a steering box rebuild.
