3260 mower hitch arms

Postby seahaul » Fri Apr 26, 2019 9:36 am

I have an IH 3260 mower but am missing the arms that attach it to a LoBoy 184. I have the large "H" shaped arm that bolts to the rear of the tractor but missing the three short flat arms that attach this H arm to the rockshaft.
Efforts to locate those three arms have been unsuccessful.
If anyone has a 3260 with all the right pieces, could you give me the lengths of those three pieces and the distance between the holes? A parts diagram identifies these as parts #11, #12, and #13.
Thanks,
Charlie

Post a link to the photos of the mower's part's diagram.

I have a 3260 mounted on a 154. It will be a few days before I can measure up the linkage.

8:03 PM. Edit. Charlie. If you have manuals for Numbered Cub implements, please let the board members know. Manuals are hard to find and I'm sure we would appreciate having them available on this site.

I looked through my Farmall/IH manuals and do not have a parts manual for the 3260, nor could I find one on this site.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Your looking for the two arms that lift the deck? These also attach the larger H arm from the rear final drives to the lift arms.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

I looked at the deck lifting linkage on my 3260 yesterday. There are 4 parts to the lifting linkage, on each side of the tractor, connecting the deck to the rock shaft.

Need parts diagram with numbers indicating needed pieces.

I’ll have to look for my manuals. But my 154 is closeby.

Brain fade there’s three links on each side two have slots.

On my 3260 there is a bar bolted to the rockshaft which I counted as the fourth link.

I don't have a parts manual but found a diagram on Messicks website at "https://www.messicks.com/cc/117410" under Cub Cadet 3260 mower hitch parts.
I need only the 3 flat bars on each side (#11, #12, and #13). I have the large "H" shaped piece and the yokes that connect directly to the deck.
If you could give me the length of these 3 pieces and the distance between holes, I can fabricate them. I think one of these may actually have a slot, if so need length of the slot.
Many thanks.
