184 Starter

Postby fordyford » Fri Jun 14, 2019 3:13 pm

I'm ready to set fire to BOTH my 184 LoBoys.
Does everything on them require removing at least two other parts just to get to it?

Starter Bendix is hanging up, not returning. No problem, pull it off and check the drive.
Not so fast there, Bubba.

IS THERE NOT A WAY TO REMOVE THE STARTER WITHOUT HAVING TO PULL THE COOLANT NECK ON THE BLOCK?????

Thanks!
Some of my ancestors mighta hanged by their necks, but none of them ever hanged by their tails.
