New member here, tiller question
Hello and thanks for the add, I recently brought home this 1974 model 154 with 1050A loader and IH-15 tiller. She runs good and loader operates fine so far. I have yet to hook up the tiller and try it out. Is there a way to hook tiller shaft and loader pump pulley to PTO shaft at same time? Would be convenient instead of switching back and forth all afternoon.

Welcome - from North of the "D" (Detroit for Non-Mitten residents)
Very nice 154 with a great compliment of implements! The loader & tiller combo is great for moving some dirt!
Till it then use the loader to move it and level it. Do you have the PTO shaft for the tiller?
Extra tires too!

Nice 154 Cub! I put a "welcome" post on your other thread. There are several highly recommended links for you to check out.

So nobody has tried to address your question here. I'll give it a stab.
If you want to keep your PTO free for use, then you would need to move your loader pump to another location. Some people put it up front and add a pulley to the flywheel. Mount the loader pump to the left side frame rail similar to mounting an alternator. Make sure it doesn't interfere with the bucket arms. Perhaps there is a picture out there of loaders that have a front mounted pump.

I would go with a front mount pump and never look back! ---Out of the way--always on and frees up the pto!
