The radiator drain plug on my 184 is slightly rounded and the space is too tight to get a pipe wrench in. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you are draining the cooling system, -- remove the coolant manifold on the lower right side of the block. Two bolts.
You will need to make another gasket.

Thanks, I'll try to file the plug down first, then remove the manifold if it doesn't work.

I took the coolant manifold off the engine and heated the metal around the plug and it came right out.

My 184 has a stuck drain plug too. I just pulled the lower hose off on mine to drain the coolant.

I'd make one of the following investments: a 3/8 square socket, a hex head (internal or external) pipe plug, or the pipe plug offered by J&D productions. The latter has a thick cast head on it akin to a wing nut, so a small adjustable is all that is needed to synch up or loosen it. I got it for the hell of it with some other parts since the square on mine was shot and I love it.
