It looks like you have a 1974 154.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Okay Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What part of the number did you use to come up with that? Or how do you read the number? I'm new to this, not that I'm new! If it is a 1974 that was the year we got married!!!!!

I would like to know also, the numbers you posted don't look correct but I'm not familiar with the numbered series Lo-Boys.

I used the 036826 and went to tractordata.com and looked at the 154, 185 and 184.

Hello Indy 61
That was the number I got off the tag on the front left of the frame, I didn't understand it either? 2009112J036826 was the number, I even checked it twice to make sure!

Does it have decals on the hood indicating model number? Is it red or yellow?
Pics would help.

tractordata.com shows the 154 only goes up to serial number 036676 but I don't know if that's correct.
Here is an example of a data plate, it may be a reproduction.

Cub Info at the top of this page also does not list a serial number above 036676. Check your casting codes to determine the date of manufacture. Stan

Hi,
The Cub 154 LoBoy operator's manual can help you learn about maintenance that the Cub 154 LoBoy needs.

Below is the Cub 154 LoBoy operator's manual. The experts on here recommend people read it. It has lots of info about operation, maintenance, and lubrication. There is a table of contents on page 1.
It shows how Cub 154 LoBoys originally looked in it. The lube section begins on page 46. :)

http://farmallcub.com/rudi_cub/www.clea ... index.html

I would check or change all the oils before using the LoBoy. Using it with low oil in a gear housing can damage the parts in the housing.
There are 3 separate gear housings, with 3 separate oil levels to check, in the rear area of a LoBoy, the transmission, and 2 final drives. :)
