New user here, Questions about a IH 184.
I am new to tractors but own a IH 184 LB. Wtere do you look to find the trans and hub fluid levels? Also where are the drain plugs for the hubs and transmission. Have changed all the filters. Would these be on the bottom of the hubs in the back . Are these plugs identified by the squair recess in the plug ?I removed them both left and right. along with one in the center of the rear of the rear housing. nohing came out. If these are the correct ones , should I fill till till the fluid begins to run out ?

On your 184, you should have a drain plug on the bottom of the transmission that isn't available on the early 154 tractors. This will not drain the final drives as these are separate reservoirs and would need the pans removed. It does take quite a bit of Hytran to refill the transmission. It is almost easier to remove the shifter and fill the transmission from the top. The final drives need to be filled through the fill plugs.
Also, I am not sure if your tractor has a creeper. Look for a handle by your left calf while seated. If it does, then this also would need a fluid replacement with Hytran.
