Check Parts Manual ENG-1 Rev 20 12-75 for the parts list that connects to the CS. Page 14, ref #13 shows the flywheel. Note there is a change based on tractor SN. Also TC 131 for the drive shaft and connecting components. Stan

Just looked at that Engine Parts Manual and the parts they show attaching to crank doesn't apply to this one. This is an early style that has the hub coupler.

I have some parts for a 154 that the engine was swapped into a FCub. I'll take a look and see what is left. Stan

Chase, I looked at the parts 154 that I have and the engine flywheel is the style that has the 4 bolt coupler on the drive shaft at the forward end. They might be interchangeable, IDK. I let tmays have the drive shaft a few years ago, he may still have one that might be usable since he replaced the one he had with the complete drive shaft that he got from me. BTW the SN on this parts 154 is 018052. I also have another complete 154 SN 024033 which has the same type drive assembly. Let me know if anything on the parts tractor is useful to you. Stan

Thanks Stan. I think he is ordering new stuff from Hamilton Bobs. Check out what I found here. Double lock washers UNDER the clutch disk and of course a lock washer and bolt on top side.

Talked to Bob today at Hamilton Bob's Parts. He said that sometimes the aftermarket pressure plates require an SAE washer to be used to "shim out" the pressure plate so the clutch linkage has more of a stroke on the pressure plate fingers. That is probably why the PO used (2) lock washers under each bolt. I ordered all of my parts from Hamilton Bob's , and I guess I'll have to locate some SAE washers for that reason so I get the proper gap.

All of my parts just came in from Hamilton Bobs. Hopefully it will go back together smoothly. Any tips or tricks on reassembly of the parts, and reassembly back into the tractor? Wonder if I'll have to press the old pulley and press the new bearing onto the new shaft? Maybe I can get it all on there with a hammer and brass drift.

Re read my post to you from April 18th.
Flywheels are advertised as Cast iron, grey iron Cast steel. and billet. I don't know what you have but if you have wear on trans input shaft you might want to shim the shaft as cast iron does not give much for tightening pinch bolt.
On mine with all new parts except trans input shaft. ( my flywheel is shimmed) I set the brake pucks so they don't do much. If your trans input shaft is as new with no wear put it together like it is supposed to be.

Thanks Duner, what exactly do you mean by flywheel run-out?

Do a google search for "flywheel runout". It will give you a good explanation with pictures.

No clutch chatter on this one. Got to get it adjusted so that it will release pressure on the disk! Video link below. Maybe I need the SAE washer shims on the pressure plate???
