What type of lubricant do you put in the distributor drive housing on a international 184?

Now that you have two posts you can down load the free manuals. Quick links, top left of this page. The Operator's Manual is listed.

Good reading and has a lubrication point chart and types of lubricant.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Don't over-grease this area. Probably only needs one small shot of grease per year.

To expand a little, you remove the plugs and install grease fittings. They can be left in, but do NOT over grease.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

When I worked for american motors AMC Jeep in 1970, they had plugs were they needed to be greased. The factory said they prefer using plugs instead of grease zerk fittings. Because the zerk fitting could allow water to get by the spring loaded ball in the zerk firing.

As far as using grease I use the grease with moly in it. The cheapest place I find it at is at TSC.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
