Is this the correct one for the IH carb on a 154 LoBoy?

As far as we can determine, there is no exact OEM repro/replacement choke shaft available for the 154 carburetor.

The IH carb for the 154 has a cable choke that attaches to a different design choke shaft. There isn't a knurled end for the choke lever to attach to. In another post, Pfranck331 added the arm to the regular shaft to make it work. I had emailed McDonald Carb to see if he had them. He can make them, but wanted me to verify that this is the correct one.

Bob, I looked on Messicks website and found these. Isn’t this an IH carb? #29 is the shaft.

That is the IH carb, but not the correct choke shaft for the later version used on the 154. You can make it work with a little jury rigging.

To illustrate this a little better, I'll attach photos of both shafts shown in the same orientation, with the 154 choke shaft on top and the standard choke shaft below. Note that there is no knurled portion of the shaft on the 154 version. Note the extra choke cable attachment point on the 154 version. Click on the photos to enlarge them, if necessary.

The choke plate should be 90 degrees to the choke lever. Your photo looks like the correct shaft and looks like the ones I have.
