1931 Ford Model AA

Postby T-Mo » Mon Jul 06, 2020 7:09 am

I was watching an old episode of American Pickers where Mike and Frank were picking this mother and daughter team that sold and collected Ford Model As and Model A parts. The mother sort of inherited the business from her dad who had passed away.

Anyways, Mike bought a Model AA tow truck from them, and I remember in a later episode the truck running and Mike using it to tow away his brother's Chevy truck. To get to the subject of my post, I was googling "Ford Model AA" and ran across this video. It's in Festus, Missouri, about 30 miles north of me. I recognized the name of the business and also some of the area the video was shot in, namely the city park. I hope you guys enjoy the video, it was nicely done, as was the truck.

What a truck! I’d love a model BB with a flathead v8 but man are the pricey.

None of these are mine, but I do love watching these videos of old cars, trucks and tractors.
