Well.....

This is the first year I have ever planted onions early enough that they could see some snow.

More often than not, it is too wet here to work the soil till June!

4/20/21. Mid-Missouri, snowing for about 1 hour. 1/2" to 1" of snow on grass and above ground surfaces. Soil temperature, 45 degrees, snow won't last long.

Hard freeze warning for tonight and tomorrow night, mid 20's. Covered the tomatoes and drained the garden hose. Apple trees have blossemed. Acreage neighbor lady said that her gooseberry plants have fruited.

Newly planted pecan seedlings, 5 ft tall, budding and leafing out. $500- in trees, soil amendments, and fencing. Bottoms are usually colder than near by elevations. Hoping that the freeze doesn't kill the pecans.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Eugene,
Florida citrus growers will spray water on the trees to protect against freezing the blossoms.

About 2" before it was all said and done. Was melting while snowing and has mostly melted by noon.

Not set up to spray water on the seedlings. The only sprayer I have, has been used for herbicide.

The snow is hanging on the leaves and blossoms. May not be that bad.

I planted sweet corn on this day, April 20, back in 2010!

Last year (2020) was June 12.

A few more weeks then sharpen up those plow edges?
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
