A bit high for a non-running 122. I bought a 122 running years ago for $250 complete with deck from a renown Cub Cadet guy. That guy would travel to all the major swap meets in the midwest selling and buying Cub Cadets and parts.

$375- was a bit on the high side for a non-running narrow framed Cub Cadet.

I think they are getting scarce. I seldom see narrow framed Cub Cadets at auction or in lawn tractor repair shop's scrap yards.

I've noticed the asking price for Cub Cadets has really jumped up. (Pretty much like most everything :? ). Don't know if they are getting the asking price, but appear to be selling.

Early last year I decided I had too many projects and sold a dozen narrow frame Cub Cadets. Several were sold as non runners, "as is", at similar prices to what Eugene initially posted. I priced them with a healthy profit vs. what I paid for them, allowing some "haggle" room. Only had one person make an offer less than asking price (and above what I was willing to take). Four of the buyers traveled over 100 miles (1 bought 4 and another bought 2). At least 3 of what I sold showed up for sale, marked up of course. One could say perhaps I didn't ask enough, but I was happy with what I sold them for and moved them fairly quick, with little hastle.

So, who knows where that market will go

I haven't check lately, but on the local CL, narrow frame Cub Cadets are plentiful, and like most CL prices, the prices are all over the place. But, the ones that are overpriced stay on CL for the entirety of the ad, and don't sell. Personally I like the narrow frame CCs the best, especially the 70 and 100. They have a better look to them.
