Christmas At Shallow Creek Farm

Postby Barnyard » Tue Dec 13, 2022 11:04 pm

As usual, I spent a lot of time putting up our annual Christmas display. Between running back and forth to the vet for Joe and some inclement weather I was able to get about 30,000 lights up.

Anyone who has seen BOB can pretty much figure
out how big this star is. The star itself is 8' tall
and is 16' off the ground.

The Nativity stable is made mostly from wood
from the old doors I replaced on my little barn.

This fella gives you an idea as to how
big the Nativity scene is.

Once again, Bill, that display is truly impressive!

You're making me feel so Bah, Humbug!! All I've done (so far) is put up a large wreath with a floodlight!

The house looks great, Clark, I hope you didn’t do this on our account! My wife puts out some decorations but it’s not my thing.

We appreciate your hard work getting the decorations up each year. I’m betting your neighbors really appreciate your efforts! A “must see” attraction in your neighborhood each year.

Bill you really put the Groswolds to shame just like Don said! Looks fantastic. Have you considered buying stock in your local electric company every winter? You could get part of the Christmas light electric bill back

Sunday we had Santa and Mr.s Claus visit for a couple of hours. The neighbors hood kids really got a kick out of it. Santa works for our local school district, so when he asked each kid which school they went to and what grade they were in he could name their teacher and their bus driver. That really made them believe he was real.
