Re: I’m Yellow, but Not a Coward
Had the procedure this afternoon. There was a mass/obstruction in my bile duct. Biopsy was taken and being tested. Will know results tomorrow or later. The plan is to get home tomorrow.
Thank you everyone for your prayers and support—definitely feel lifted up to Him who is the Great Physician.

Re: I’m Yellow, but Not a Coward - Update
Well, got the news yesterday that no one wants to hear: “You’ve got cancer.”
Robyn and I were not shocked, after all, just a little defeated hearing it from the oncologist. There’s a few rays of sunshine: tumor is small, found early, hasn’t spread to other organs, I’m in great health, and it’s very treatable. A big downside to pancreatic cancer is longevity. Even if the tumor is treated and removed, we’re not talking about very many years to live. So, it appears I will be formulating a bucket list over the next few months.
An aggressive 6 months of chemo is planned along with surgery, so I won’t be attending any CubFests this year. Was so looking forward to meeting many of you.
I want to deeply thank each of you for your prayers and concerns. To have them is a great encouragement. My faith in Christ and the prayers of the Church supported me well during my heart surgery back in 2014 and believe it will again now.
Ephesians 3:14-21

Stan my friend, Treatments are tough, but they have come a long ways in treating all kinds of cancer. Gods blessing on you and your family and a speedy and total recovery.
