Above, Joann Puckett's obituary and funeral notification.

Phone call from John, 9:40 PM 11/09/22. John's computer is down and ask me to relay the funeral arraignments to board members.

John is home with his daughter. Planning on mowing the lawn and raking leaves tomorrow. Hasn't done any Cub work. Said he hadn't picked up or cracked black walnuts this year. Told john I would mail him some.

Told John there were a lot of condolences on the board.

John sounded as he was in fair condition considering the circumstances.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Thanks, Eugene and Stanton for posting the obituary. I'm planning on being at the visitation Sunday.

John called me the day after she passed and seem to be in okay spirits. I know it will be hard for him as they were married for over 50 years. I would like to drive over to his house, but will probably wait a couple of weeks as I'm sure he is being surrounded by family and friends. I'll let them grieve and remember her in old stories and folk lure before I'll visit John.

Sorry to hear this. Thoughts and prayers for John and family.

I was able to talk to John briefly a week and a half ago and he does not have access to the internet, so it may be a while before is back "on board".

Having to use my old laptop, desktop still giving trouble and I haven't felt like messing with it. We celebrated our 50th anniversary las.t June. We did not tell anyone where we were going, just quietly left. We went to Catfish Kettle, our favorite restaurant, both of us as happy as we could be. Now 3 1/2 months later, she is gone, it is rough dealing with it. I wish to,thank everyone for there prayers.

John, we are so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you spent your last few months together at a place you enjoyed.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
