I am scheduled to have the abcess removed this morning if th antibiotics haven’t worked. Still a lot of pain right now so it looks like I’m still on schedule. I can’t go home until it is gone Doctor said it only takes about 10 minutes and I will be awake awake

Here it is Friday afternoon and there is still a good bit of pain. Doctor said I could be here over the weekend. It all depends on when my colon and bowel get in gear

Just talked to Bill. The major issue was a perforated colon, as a result of the diverticulitis. That has been repaired and he is on antibiotics to prevent any infection. Once his GI system starts to function again, his doctor will release him. Hopefully, tomorrow. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

I had diverticulitis and i battled with it for 10 years, finally went for the surgery and it was the best decision I ever made. I can eat everything without worry of getting sick.
