John,
When I saw you at Boyer's Funeral Home, I had no idea. Of course, losing a loved one, especially a life mate of 50 years, is going to take a toil on someone. But, other than the normal grief, I wasn't aware of your depression. You put on a brave front, my friend.
My brother, Kevin, lost his wife a few months back. Kevin and your wife knew each other from working at the school. Remember when I first went to your house, Joann thought I was familiar....due to me and Kevin being brothers. Anyways, Kevin also puts on a brave front. I know he's hurting, but he always has a smile on his face and his great sense of humor.
Take care, and if you need to talk, or just a friend, let me know.
Sorry I have been away so long'

John,
Sorry to hear of your health problems. I cant begin to understand what kind of pain you are going through with the loss of you wife.
This kind of loss takes a long time to recover from, and please know that your friends here are praying for you.
