Big mess
Woke up Thursday June11 and my computer is like a new one-- but not in a good way. I suspect that Mozilla reconfigured the whole thing during the night. My bookmarks have disappeared, for one thing. The Commands, such as FILE are gone from the top of the page. What a total mess!

Right click at the top of a browser window and select Menu Bar.

Re: Big mess
Clicking the "menu bar" does not bring up anything helpful. It only opens a new page. Prior to this, Mozilla and Windows did a wonderful job of restoring after they automatically upgraded.
Have not been able to even start a new bookmark list.
The responses are appreciated
Was thinking that perhaps others had the same recent experience and could share their solutions
Now some features of Open Office do not function correctly-- making Microsoft a suspect in last nights' debaucle.

Re: Big mess
If you have something that looks like this at the top right of the page, the clipboard is book marks, and the square with lines in it is a menu that should let you use options to restore everything the way you had it.

You have to put your cursor all the way to the top and then right click. The box should open with the option to open the menu bar.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Big mess
That helped a little. I had been left clicking. Now I find that my email address book is wiped out. I wish I knew who was responsible for this. My computer had no financial information as I do not use it for that purpose.

Re: Big mess
Wife is a light sleeper (with better hearing than mine) and she heard the computer reboot about 3am on Thursday. The multiple problems showed up after that. So I fussed about the mess all day Thursday.
Thursday night I decided to outsmart those who made the mess and shutdown the computer for the night to deny them access.
Startup Friday morning apparently brought everything back to "normal" Happy about that.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Re: Big mess
My computer is never turned on unless it is being used. Leaving one on and connected 24 hours a day is a good way to let hackers in.
