Logged into the computer with separate accounts or sharing the same one?

Do you use any browser plugins/toolbars/etc?

Not exactly sure what plug ins are, I have a favorites tool bar.

I went to the wifes account, got on this site and had no problems of jumping down ( using the same mouse).
One other clue is when I hover over a thread title it does not always turn from blue to red right away, it will show the "thinking donut" sometimes, and then that is when it usually jumps to the bottom.

I would start with clearing your browser cache files first (if you have not done that already.) It varies from browser to browser on how to access that, so a quick google search will help find what you need. (PS: Don't delete your cookie files1 You will need them.)

PSS: One other thing you can try if it is only this site, click on the "Delete all board cookies" link at the bottom right of the forum; be sure to know your login ID and password before you do that, because it will log you out of the site.

I tried both with no help. Will continue to try to find a fix. Laptop is 6-7 years old...buying a new one might do it!

FYI-
Not sure about the others but the "going to the bottom" issue went away recently. I got so use to it I didn't realize it was gone.

I'm glad to hear that Tim. I can only guess that the new forum version fixed that issue for you. It was a complete replacement of the forum software.
