Are your tractors used for show or working: Showing off.
How much Land do you work (Acres): None. City boy.
What was your first tractor experience (does not have to be a Farmall or Cub): My friend noticed my Ford 9N at the local goodwill...he said we could get it running no problem..as I drove by every day I would stare at it..I finally went in to place a bid...I bid $400 and they turned me down...it was rolled and smashed up real good...I kept going by and they wouldn’t come down on the price....so I gave my son a check for $300 and said I wanted it for father’s day...I don’t know what he said but he came back and said get a rope...we had it running in no time....it must have sat upside down for a while because it smoked and blew motor oil all over my garage....then searching the internet I saw a cub and I was bitten by the cub bug....the Ford is now in a friends back yard....and the cub is currently at the restorers house in another town.
What is your Cub's primary work. Showing off in the town I live in cruising the streets
What is the favorite Cub of all which you have owned and why: my 63. Because of casting codes it was decided that it was making its way down the assembly line when I was being conceived.
What first sparked your interest in owning a Cub: This place called Farmallcub.com When I started asking questions and looking for one someone said good luck finding one in California...I showed them they can be had...they are everywhere....but it may be because there are farms everywhere in Kern County, Ca.
What task/use of your Cub provides the most enjoyable seat time: So far just trips around the block with the hood off.
Favorite thing you like about Cub's and Cadets: The way they look, the size they are, and the fact that they replaced the horses on some small farms.
Describe your most satisfying or frustrating experience working on your own or someone else's Cub: Getting the cub home from the PO and having it running in less than two hours, and hearing the sound this little tractor makes did something to my sole.
Do you host or participate in CubFests, Cubarama, Mini-CubFests? How so?

Robert:
Interesting bio.. especially the geko/tarantula combo... Been to the Kern, never got to fish it though. Enjoy riding your restored Cub through town when you get it back. Don't ferget to take it to A&W and other drive in's etc.... could start a resurgence of the 50's night out adventures. Hoping that will get the same reaction as the "Good luck finding one in California+ comment. They still seem to be quite rare out there... just glad you got one

robert miller ,very interesting. how is security at your plant? when i worked for humungus electric over here on the east coast, it would take an hour to move five of us 100 ft in the plant. if one person had the call to nature , all had to make the trip.i worked nuke plant ,hydro and coal-steam. it was the nukes that were so stringent. my personnel responsibility was the hydro plant at the conowingo dam. i was primary there and secondary working in the others. small world. oh yea i installed all the metering equipment that showed how much power we produced.
