What is your Cub's primary work? Plowing, cultivating garden, mowing pastures

What is the favorite Cub of all which you have owned and why? 55 lo-boy,
looked like crap, and ran the same, when I got it, looks good,and purrs, now (my show tractor)


What first sparked your interest in owning a Cub? Cut my teeth on one, then went, for years, without one. Scott fell in love with one, at school. I bought him one, for Christmas.We restored it, then I needed one. I got a breeding pair, and now I have a herd of them.

What task/use of your Cub provides the most enjoyable seat time? Cultivating the garden,especially corn. I also enjoy grinding corn,at shows. I think that active displays, are much more interesting.

Favorite thing you like about Cub's and Cadets? Do a lot of work, for a small machine. Rugged, easy to fix

Describe your most satisfying or frustrating experience working on your own or someone else's Cub? Bringing in a very rusty, sputtering tractor, into the shop, and have it come out,like new. (with someone else painting the sheet metal. I can’t paint! (or type. Cecil figured we’d both be dead, before I finished filling this out)

Do you host or participate in CubFests, Cubarama, Mini-CubFests? How so? Hosted two, attend Cecil’s cubfests,and Minifests, and ConnectiCubfests

Thanks Ed, I really enjoyed reading the write up. Glad you have improved your typing skills enough for us to know more about you. I learned quick though that my typing was much better if i put my donut down and typed with both hands. :lol:

Bill, I dislocated a finger,a couple of days ago. Now, I have to put the donut down, to type. Won't see many posts from me, for a week or two. Ed

Ya know I think this has to be one of the biggest shockers for bio's as I would have never guessed Ed as an x-ray tech. I was thinking more along the lines of a professional donut eater the way you and Joe talk. However I do appreciate the great read thanks for sharing Ed.

Interesting.... I guess the breeding pair does in fact work. Even with red and yeller Cubs.

I have done enough driving in Mass to know how you injured your finger!
