Sticker shock!

Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

Sticker shock!

Postby ScottyD'sdad » Thu May 19, 2022 12:02 pm

just bought 2 NAPA gold filters for the cubs. $27.31, total cost. I was shaking so much I could hardly drive home!
How can I install them with shaking hands?

That's what I'm waiting for,Tim! Asked my shop when they were going on sale, and they usually aren't told ahead of time, but they said it should be soon. Just checked...not yet! Too bad it's not at the same time nationwide... :?

When we had a NAPA here, their sale was usually in April and October.

Same here and the old boys behind the counter knew when and would remind you well in advance.

Wow, they are $18.49 each at my NAPA store. I have a Case/IH dealer nearby that stocks them. $9.90 ea for Case/IH branded filters or $9.45 ea for Fleetguard LF672.

No CaseIH dealers within 150 miles of me, so that's not a help to me.

Good grief!! And I was waiting for them to go on sale! Won't hold my breath!!

Last large order I placed with TM Tractors, I added 3 filters. Figured since I was already paying shipping, it wouldn't add much:
