Barnyard Bash CubFest 2024

Postby Barnyard » Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:44 pm

It is that time of year. If you have never been to a CubFest this is a can't miss event. Check out all the details here. www.barnyardbash.com.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

 :D
No problem! And I'll bring the TC special tools, too!

Make sure you get the correct kit...there are basically 2 different TC Blocks, based on their part #, and 2 different rebuild kits for them. I also recommend that you print the correct HOW TO for YOUR block:

Better late than never...I got my room booked!

I can bring my tire tools if anybody will be looking to replace tires or tubes. Please let me know ahead of time so I can pack them.

I'm planning to bring the '75 longstripe and replace the radiator. I suspect drilling and tapping will be in my future.

Ordered all my parts for the Touch Control rebuild from TM Tractor the other day. Hoping it all arrives sometime next week at the latest.

I picked up a gasket kit, strainer, boots, pump gaskets/o-rings, and several other little parts. Hopefully that's everything I need. I also have some Hy-Tran fluid and I'll pick up some cans of carb cleaner before the Bash.

Assuming you have the TC block off the tractor, take some kerosene and a parts cleaning brush and scrub the exterior of the block thoroughly. That will make the rebuild task a lot easier when you start getting into it.

And make sure you have LOTS of carb cleaner!! :D
