Re: Bash Projects
Oh, thanks, Gary!
I'm just leaving Roanoke, VA. A small side trip to pick up a 4E Hammermill that I am Expressing.
Then the obligatory stop at their Northern Tool to replace a dead battery jumpbox/compressor on sale from $149 to $99 less my $20 off coupon...FORCED to buy a bag of M&M's to get over the $100!!!

Re: Bash Projects
Was sorting through photos, and decided to post a couple of the projects that were done by some super folks...THANKS again, all!!
I had a few of the PTO Shifter Levers that I had replaced over the years, intending to repair them per a HOW TO someone posted a while back. However, I have neither the equipment nor the skills to do it, SO enter Gary Dodson!! My hero!
First, he drill out the old worn pin:
Then he welded in a section of 1/4" drill bit (we were unsure of the required length, so will need to grind it down later):

Re: Bash Projects
After completing a DOUBLE tractor split.....
......we relaxed under the big shade tree, listening to Ron play his banjo. Meanwhile, I managed to pull a Tom Sawyer moment, "allowing" Ron's brother to sharpen my Mott Flail Mower Knives, but only after he diagnosed and repaired a problem with my "new-to-me" electric sharpener!!
We made an attempt to mow a bit at Barnyards, but unfortunately, his grass is like wire!! Took me a while at home to cut that stuff off the cutter bar! However, with "normal" grass here at my farm, it mowed great! Thanks "Ron's Brother" and those that helped with their supervision!!
