Shallow Creek Farm CubFest

Postby Jeff Silvey » Sat Oct 19, 2019 5:19 pm

Well just got home from Shallow Creek. We had some very nice weather & had great time. Met some old members that we hadn't seen in years. Did several jobs, some not cub related & others jobs related to a cub. Thanks to all that helped with the projects.
Thanks to the women for fixing the meals. Thanks to Bill & Rosie.
The Silveys.

Thank you, Bill and Rosie for a great time. Thank you, Gary and Jeff for the welding job. Thank you, Bill for the Cub Express with my tires, too! Great to see everyone!
And Jo and I like to sit close to a gentle glowing fire on an Autumn night. Of course, the fires we had this weekend were not like that but we loved them anyway! I'm sure our eyebrows will grow back eventually.

This is why I'm glad the yard is big enough for everyone to sit farther from the fire if they wish. Of course, asking everybody to sit back 100 feet does sound extreme.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
