Stan, I am leaving it at Buddy's and your friend will get it from there later.

Glad you got a plan worked out and maybe you will get to meet him sometime, he's quite the interesting person.

Safe journeys everyone. I have been reading that states are beginning to close rest stops. So far it has been Nebraska & Pennsylvania. Nebraska is due to toilet paper theft. It might pay to bring an extra roll or two along.

Looking forward to pictures.

Here's some info that might be helpful. The first and second pictures are missing the helper spring and is the way I purchased it. The notes are what I discovered when freeing it up and getting it on my LoBoy. The 4th pict is installed with the Penningtion mule drive in place. This is the way I run it with my Bush Hog 412C mower, no clearance problems. Last pict is from the parts manual at Quick Links/pdf manuals and shows only the lower parts. :hattip: Sure wish I could be there!! :( !!

Hello from Louisiana!
We want to let you know that after much prayer that we are sending out this message. We understand the concerns that many have about us hosting this gathering. There have been several who have canceled their plans to attend this weekend due to the growing number of cases of the Covid-19 around the country. According the morning news, the virus has been confirmed in all 50 states. We also have concerns, but at the same time, we know that there are many who are planning to attend that we do not know about and may have traveled many miles to come and we have no means to contact them. We are asking that if you or any of your family members have concerns about you attending this gathering, please consider staying home. We do not want anyone attending to come in contact with this virus at our place. We are taking ALL precautions to prevent the spread of the virus, but we cannot say that we are completely virus free. After this is all over and things get back to normal, we will schedule another Cubfest and hopefully everyone who stays home will be able to attend. It is our prayer that you understand that we are only looking out for your safety and hope that you will take into consideration the others you have to be concerned about. Our family encompasses all of our tractor family and this is the reason we worry about you. Again, we are not completely canceling this Cubfest, but we want to err on the side of precaution. You are welcome at our home this weekend or any other weekend you want to come!
Thank you for hearing us out,
Buddy and Hope

My concern is not the virus, but all of the chaos that has been created because of it. We will be living in a different place 2-3 weeks from now. The uncertain future has me concerned, not for myself, but for my three children. My job as a parent is to provide the most stable and safest environment I can for them. That being said, I should be focusing my time and resources on just that. So, rather than attending the Cubfest this weekend, I am going to remain close to my home and family and tend to a few things here in the hope that there will be another Louisiana Cubfest to attend at a later date. All of you will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers throughout this week and the weekend.

The comments since Buddy and Hope's post show that what Bill Hudson and Val (coppersmith) said is more that true. The world could use more people like those that are part of the Cub community. As Grandpap would say, "salt of the earth", "a man's word is his bond".
