Portland Show in August is A Go
The directors of the Portland Indiana Tri State Antique Gas Engine and Tractor Show voted today to have their show at the end of August as usual. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again this year.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Yes, thanks for posting, Bill. We are planning on attending this event. It will be our first time at the show and look forward to it. Does anyone know if it's better to rent a golf cart ahead of time or wait until at the show?

Re: Portland Show in August is A Go
We haven't had any problem renting one for Glen but they arrive early. As Steve said, they have run out, in the past. It would be best to reserve ahead of time. Last year, there was a big price difference between the rental outfits, so shop a bit. You might ask Clownfish, the name of the company he rents from.

Re: Portland Show in August is A Go
I rented from “Carts and Parts”or at least that is who my check was made out to. I believe it was $75/day and that was cheaper than the others but the quality (at least Appearance) was lower.

Thanks for correcting me Glenn, I thought I remembered your cart having the National decal on the side. I guess I have a deficient rememberer.

I had no idea who I had rented from until I looked back at my checkbook (They didn’t take credit cards). I lost my rememberer a long time ago.

Welcome to the CRS crowd, lots of us here. Some that remember it, some don't admit it. (This is what I do when I can't sleep at 3 AM.)
