- Dusty had several issues the guys tackled.
His Cub is running quite well thanks to a
little magic from Gary.
- We also have a Cub with a locked motor. After the head was
removed (no broken bolts) we found some corrosion in the cylinders.
- A game plan was developed which began with honing what
could be seen of the cylinder walls
- A little persuasion on the pistons with a block of wood and a
hammer of suitable size freed the motor up within an hour.
More honing and hammer work enabled us to hand crank it
fairly easily. Tomorrow we will pull it around the barnyard a bit
to get the engine looser.
