It is after much thought that we have decided to not host the Louisiana Cubfest at our regular time. We are ready to get together with everyone, but, we're still uneasy about having a gathering at this time. If we can schedule something later in the year, we will. If it won't work for this year, we'll shoot for March, 2022!
We hope everyone is well and continues to be well.

Buddy and Hope, I'll miss the great food and mudbugs, but completely understand. Crazy times we're in. Hope to see you both at another Cubfest this year.

Re: Louisiana Cubfest
Thanks for the update. Rosie and I were hoping to make it again this year, but we understand. We are glad we could be there last year.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Louisiana Cubfest
I know it was a tough decision, but with the current uncertainties, it’s the right choice. With all the conflicting information coming out of Washington and the state capitols, it’s nearly impossible to plan for anything these days. Hopefully, in the next few months, the path forward will become more clear.

Re: Louisiana Cubfest
I think this is the right, albeit sad, decision for these iffy times. I'm getting my 2nd vaccine tomorrow, and hope this begins a return to normal, but I think our country has a very long road to go.
My friend in Australia tells how good their contact tracing is, which would be another way to help control this. Oh well...
Hopefully we will all meet up again soon! Meanwhile, good health to everyone.

Re: Louisiana Cubfest
Another withdrawal reaction from attending no Cubfests is the constant searching on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace for new acquisitions, and it's getting darn expensive!!!

Re: Louisiana Cubfest
Sorry to hear but understand. I'm going to see if I can switch dates and go to our Chapter 44 show, if it is not cancelled
Buddy, any decision been made on the Chapter 31 show in May
